The Better India

written by Dhimant Parekh on Monday, December 04, 2006

My 55-word short story that I had to write for the Creativity class.
*****
I look around and see devastation. My brothers are dead and gone. I stand alone guarding my masters from the enemy. I see death everyday. I die everyday. Alas, I am a mere soldier, a pawn of the Lord. They call it a game, but for me this chequered black and white board is life.
